Are getting married

on February 23, 2018 in Sarasota, FL

All The Details!!!!

Below you will find all the details you need for being part of our special day!

Ceremony & Reception Details

We have chosen The Powel Crosley Estate for our wedding as it has incredible local history, breathtaking architecture, lush scenery, and most of all -- a beautiful love story. The Estate is owned by the City of Bradenton and will be such a treat to spend the day at this historic mansion with all our family and friends. Be sure to check out the history of the Mansion (Google or Wiki), and it will become very clear to you too why we chose it.

The Powel Crosely is located at:
8374 N Tamiami Trail
Sarasota, FL 34243

We will be holding the Ceremony  at the Estate on Friday February, 23rd 2018 at 5:30pm with an Hors d'oeuvre hour and dinner reception following.

Attire:  This is not a black tie affair, however our guests will be part of our memories and our photos.  We do ask that you reserve your Bermuda shorts and flip flops for the beach. Being that it's February in Florida you can expect the sun to be shining and warm in the late afternoon, however when the sunsets, it's going to be a little chilly (so bring a light coat or sweater).  The Ceremony will be held out side on the back veranda, Hors d'oeuvre hour will be under the pavilion and dinner will be held inside the estate around the 7pm hour. Keep in mind that the sun will be setting over Sarasota Bay at 6:27 pm and it's our goal to have a group photo done at that time!

You may want to make note that because our wedding is at a historical property we will be having a dry wedding.  Yes that means no liquor!!!  EKKK what to do??  Being that we don't drink nor does most of our family this is a non issue for us.  We plan on making it up to you with amazing food, a cappuccino bar by Foundation Coffee of Seminole Heights, and a lovely Donut bar for all our kids at heart!  We promise you loads of fun and you will thank us when you wake on Saturday morning without a headache and wondering what embarrassing moments made it to Facebook!

Live Stream: We know that a lot of our family will not able to travel to our wedding and well no need to worry as we will have you covered.  Sarina is a pro at Facebook live and she has enlisted some friends to help her with the live streaming the wedding from her Perfectly Chaotic Life Facebook Page!  The full ceremony will stream live and bits and pieces throughout the event.  You can join the Facebook Group by Clicking HERE!

Bridal Party:  We have chosen not to have a bridal party.  This event is about sharing a special day with our closest friends and family, not about picking colors, dresses, tuxes, and people.  Sebastian will be a big part of our ceremony as he is equally excited about this day and obviously the biggest part of our lives.  We will try to keep things as "traditional" as possible, but we are not really the type to "follow" tradition.  🙂

Travel Info

Tampa (TPA) : 55 Miles north of Sarasota

Sarasota (SRQ):  Less than a mile to the event location

Tampa and Sarasota both require vehicles, so car rentals are a must!

While we would have loved to have picked an “official hotel” for our wedding, in the end we didn’t want to lock anyone into a particular area or price-point -- instead, we really want everyone to have the freedom to explore the culturally rich area and choose a place and price that matched their preferences.  Because this is a very busy time of the year for Sarasota, we do highly suggest that you make reservations sooner than later if you plan on spending the night or weekend.  We also highly suggest looking at renting a privately owned house or condo as you will find that you will get more for your money that way.  A good source for locating private rentals is and  Below are also our hotel suggestions!

Hilton Garden Inn Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, is located at the entrance of the Powell Crosley Estate:

There are several chain hotels near the Airport that range in price from $115-250 a night.  You can view them by going to and searching “Sarasota” and then under landmarks select “SRQ”.

Lantern Inns & Suites, located 2.2 miles from the venue and is one of the more affordable options in Sarasota.  Prices range from $125-250 a night.
